Sakpatenti organised a three–day seminar for representatives of mass media on January 18-20, 2013, in Gudauri, Georgia. During the event, Sakpatenti officials delivered presentations for 14 mass media representatives. Irakli Ghvaladze, Chairman of Sakpatenti, made a welcome speech and familiarized participants with activities and future plans of Sakpatenti.

In the framework of the event and with the purpose to raise awareness of target audience, journalists were provided with detailed information about various intellectual property objects, including copyright, trademarks, geographical indications and inventions. The seminar also discussed peculiarities of use of intellectual property objects in practice and the experience of different countries of the world in this direction. The meeting, which took place in an interactive atmosphere, aroused great interest among the participants.
