The National intellectual property Center of Georgia Sakpatenti and the European Patent Office jointly organized seminar on Patent Information from July 31 to August 1, 2012 in Batumi.

Representatives of Sakpatenti, Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University, Kutaisi Akaki Tsereteli State University and Tbilisi Ilia State University participated in the seminar.

Sakpatenti representatives and invited experts from the European Patent Office presented on the different issues around Patent Information. Special attention was paid to the topics on the access, use and identification of the Patent information types, legal and commercial aspects of Patent Information.
