A delegation of Sakpatenti visited Chile to attend an International Symposium. The Symposium is organized by the World intellectual property Organization (WIPO) and the National Institute of industrial property of Chile (INAPI).

During three days participants of the meeting will discuss actual problems of protection of industrial designs and intellectual property in general. Georgia participates in this Symposium for the first time.

Along with the participation in the Symposium, meetings are planned with top officials of the National Institute of industrial property of Chile. As over the recent 15 years Chile has successfully implemented wine branding (according to the sales of wine, the country is on the 5th position and according to production – on the 8th position in the world), experience sharing will be interesting for the Georgian party.

Mr. Irakli Ghvaladze, Chairman of the National intellectual property Center, is heading a delegation.
