The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has ratified the agreement (in the form of an exchange of notes) to renew the agreement between Ukraine and the EU on scientific and technological cooperation.

Deputy chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on European Integration Stepan Kurpyl believes the ratification of the instrument will facilitate the development of science and technology, protection of intellectual property rights. The ratification of the agreement will also facilitate the integration of Ukraine’s science into the European space, Kurpyl said.
