On October 11 a meeting took place at the European House, dedicated to the copyright protection and enforcement issues. The meeting was organized by GEPLAC, the National intellectual property Centre Sakpatenti and the Georgian Authors’ Society.

The main objective of the meeting was familiarization of the participants with the issues linked with copyright protection and enforcement in Georgia as well as facilitation of a dialogue between the Government structures, non-governmental organizations, authors and other interested persons.

The participants had an opportunity to discuss copyright protection mechanisms, to ask questions and receive answers to questions of their interest.

The meeting was attended by representatives of the Government, private companies, non-governmental organizations and EU Delegation to Georgia.
