In the framework of measures held on twentieth anniversary of independence restoration of the Republic of Azerbaijan the round table on “Let’s save our intangible heritage” was held in 2011, September 22 in the conference hall of copyright Agency.

Information on safeguarding of intangible heritage of Azerbaijan, registration, documentation, also the rules of safeguarding of intangible heritage, registration, and documentation prepared by the Agency, the rules on the permission foreign physical and juridical person’s commercial use of Azerbaijani folklore samples in abroad was given in the round table.

Participants of the conference have been stressed the attention and care to the development of this field shown by our State and specially noted President of Heydar Aliyev Fund and Azerbaijani Culture Friends Fund, goodwill ambassador of UNESCO and ISESCO Mehriban Aliyeva’s exceptional services in the field of safeguarding, revival and recognition of tangible and intangible heritage.
