Kyiv sends to Moscow proposals on Customs Union

Ukrainian Embassy in Russia suggested a draft agreement which principles of a 3+1 scheme of cooperation between Ukraine and the Customs Union of Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan.

On July 8, Ukraine’s delegation led by the government’s envoy for cooperation with Russia, the CIS member states, the Common Economic Space and other regional associations, Valeriy Muntiyan, held expert talks at the Russian Ministry of Economic Development in Moscow, during which they discussed possible schemes of our state’s interaction with the Customs Union of Belarus, Kazakhstan and Russia. The Russian side was handed a draft of a relevant agreement prepared by Ukrainian experts,” Interfax-Ukraine learned at the Embassy on Friday.

According to the Ukrainian Embassy in Russia, after the Council of the Customs Union examines Ukraine’s proposals, the parties will continue discussing this issue.
