The Executive Workshop of the Application of Management Techniques in the Delivery of IP Services took place in Gatineau (Canada) from October 19 to 23, 2009.

The Workshop was organized by the World intellectual property Organization (WIPO) in cooperation with the Canadian intellectual property Office (CIPO).

Mr. Ulan Melisbek, Director of the State Service of intellectual property of the Kyrgyz Republic participated in this event.

The main objective of the Executive Workshop was to train senior officials from national industrial property offices, influencing the daily management of their offices so as to ensure a better response to the needs of their clients. The objective of the Executive Workshop was also to impart techniques for the implementation of effective quality control systems to monitor the delivery of IP services.

After the Workshop conclusion Ms. Mary Carman, Executive Director of the Canadian intellectual property Office presented to Mr. Melisbek the Certificate of Training, who has successfully completed the Workshop.
