A delegation of Sakpatenti headed by the Chairman Mr. Irakli Ghvaladze is paying a visit to Astana between May 22-24 (Kazakhstan) in the framework of the 5th Astana Economic Forum. The delegation consists of the Chairman and the Head of Administrative Department of Sakpatneti Mr. Revaz Tabukashvili.
In the event, organized with the support of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev, 5000 delegates from 80 countries of the world participate annually. Among them are: heads of states, representatives of international organizations, heads of Patent offices, Director General of WIPO Francis Gurry, leading politicians, scientists and representatives of business elite.
The forum will discuss urgent issues such as global monetary system, industrial safety, tourism development, alternative energy, key issues of the intellectual property protection field, implementation of innovations, investment attraction, etc.
Chairman of Sakpatenti Irakli Gvaladze will make a presentation at the session “The Role of intellectual property in Economic Development”.
During the visit a meeting is planned with the Chairman of the Committee for intellectual property Rights of Kazakhstan and Director of the National Institute of Intellectual Property.
