The copyright Agency and the State Committee on Standardization, Metrology & patents of Azerbaijan have drafted the National intellectual property Strategy.
Copyright Agency’s director Kamran Imanov informs that in the near future Committee’s chairman Ramiz Hasanov will submit the Draft Long-Term Strategy for consideration of the Cabinet Ministers.
“The document with term until 2020 and perhaps further reflects our governmental agencies’ approach to this matter, combining both culture, science and production. The Strategy aims not only to spread and protect knowledge and culture, but also to realize economic potential of intellectual property,” Imanov said.
