On October 26-28 Sakpatenti delegation, headed by Mr. Irakli Ghvaladze, Chairman of Sakpatenti, visited Astana, Kazakhstan, with a working visit. Meetings took place in relation with questions of bilateral cooperation in the intellectual property protection field. During the meeting protection of Georgian appellations of origin and geographical indications on the territory of Kazakhstan was discussed. Kazakhstan is an important trade partner for Georgia. According to the sales of Georgian wine and mineral water, Kazakhstan is on the second position after Ukraine.
