Interstate Exhibition “20 Years of CIS: New Horizons of Partnership”

Between 28 June to 3 July 2011, at the Exhibition Center of the Russian Federation, Moscow, will be held the jubilee edition of the Interstate Exhibition “20 Years of CIS: New Horizons of Partnership”. In the stand of our country at this exhibition event will also take part the State Agency on intellectual property of the Republic of Moldova.

The organizer of the national stand of the Republic of Moldova in the aforementioned event is the Government which, by order no. 17-p of 28 January 2011, approved the composition of the Organizational Committee for preparing Moldova’s participation in the interstate exhibition. President of the Organizational Committee is appointed Mr. Valeriu Lazar, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy, and the national operator - Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Moldova. The national exhibition will be held on an area of ​​300sq.m. Local companies will present foodstuffs, wines, clothing, works of craftsmen, and a wide range of attractive solutions in the fields of investment policy, effective use of export potential, increase of competitiveness of products in all branches of national economy. In the Exchange contacts will be presented concrete investment projects, the fields of activity of the industrial and technological parks, open areas, and of other organizations.

In order to promote the national intellectual property protection system and the achievements of national inventors, AGEPI will present the information stand “intellectual property protection system in the Republic of Moldova” and will conduct promotion, marketing and consulting activities in the field of protection of intellectual property.

The basic objectives of the Exhibition “20 Years of CIS: New Horizons of Partnership” aimed at developing the interstate cooperation in the CIS priority areas of economy and social sphere, positive investment and innovation imaging of CIS member states, enhancing the constructive interaction and strategic partnership, demonstrating the results and prospects, etc. The central section of the exhibition will be devoted to totals of collaboration and integration of the CIS member states for the space of 20 years. The specialized institutions involved in the partnership agreements will demonstrate their achievements, interstate programs and projects carried out during the period under review.

On June 29, at the Interstate Exhibition “20 Years of CIS: New Horizons of Partnership” will be organized the Day of the Republic of Moldova.

The Exhibition program provides various conferences, seminars, round tables, exchanges of contacts with respect to interstate projects in the field of energy, transport, information technologies and communications, which will be attended by leaders of ministries and departments, associations of entrepreneurs and industrialists, and other organizations and business circles. Of these events we should mention: International Scientific-Practical Conference “Food Security. National and International Aspects”, Humanitarian Forum “The Young Generation - Life without Borders”, innovation Forum, as well as a rich cultural program.
