The fifth IP Business Congress (IPBC), Portugal

Starts Jun 24 2012
Ends Jun 26 2012
Where Hotel Cascais Miragem, Lisbon, Portugal
Description

The fifth IP Business Congress (IPBC) will be hosted by Intellectual Asset Management (IAM) magazine at Portugal’s leading conference venue, the Hotel Cascais Miragem, near Lisbon, from 24th to 26th June 2012.

The IPBC is now firmly established as the world’s pre-eminent event focusing on IP as a strategic corporate asset. This was never more apparent than when the attendees at last year’s IPBC in San Francisco were invited to ring the closing bell on the New York Stock Exchange remotely from the networking centre of the conference. Recent events such as the Nortel patent auction and Google’s acquisition of Motorola Mobility have shown that IP is now moving firmly onto the agenda of boardrooms and investors around the globe. Already the must-attend event for those responsible for IP value creation within their companies, the IPBC is now of crucial relevance to those who are responsible for maintaining the strength of their companies’ bottom line.

Nowhere else during 2012 will you hear so many top-level executives, investors and policy makers talking about cutting-edge IP value creation issues; nor will you have a better opportunity to swap experiences with them in face-to-face conversations at the many networking events that take place alongside the formal programme. At long last it looks like IP may have reached the tipping point and become a boardroom issue. Make sure you are in Portugal from 24th to 26th June to learn about where we go from here.
