Road-show "CIS: partnership in innovations" to open in Baku on 7 December

| Description | The organizers – CIS International innovation Center of Nano Technologies, United Institute of Nuclear Researches and Baku State University under support of Interstate Humanitarian Cooperation Fund of CIS member-states – report that Communication group Insiders acts as the event operator. The event involves reps of innovation Center of Nano Technologies, United Institute of Nuclear Researches, Russian Cooperation , OJSC ” Russian Venture company”, Nano-Center ” Dubna”, juridic company Salans”, communication group Insiders, Science Academy of Azerbaijan, as well as teachers and students of Azerbaijani universities, specialists of innovation companies, scientific centres. ” In light of the recent speeches of Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin on creation of full-fledged Eurasian Union by analogy with the EU as well as signing of declaration on Eurasian Economic integration by Presidents of Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan on 18 November, the theme of Russia’s partnership with CIS countries acquires a specific significance. This event aims at integration of scientific and innovative activity within CIS, encouragement of Youth’s mobility, attraction of innovative projects from CIS, qualification raising in technology commercialization field”,- the report says. According to organizers at present cooperation in innovation field is key activity direction in CIS member-states’ space. Sharing of practical experience, possibilities of open dialogues between reps of leading innovative companies and Commonwealth countries’ scientific centres, aiming at search of perspective partners and achievement of preliminary agreements on cooperation- such are the targets set by road-show participants. The event will take place at the campus of Baku State University. The event is to include holding of plenary meetings as well as some education seminars directed for participants’ qualification raising in innovation and nano technologies area, venture financing, intellectual property market, interstate programs in CIS and so on. “Such form of work organization as road-show is extremely efficient : it enables to cover wide enough participant audience, but at the same time leaves opportunity for holding individual talks. We consider that road-show in Baku will become an efficient tool for establishing innovative cooperation at CIS space and initiate the whole series of similar events”,- A.
