The World intellectual property Organization (WIPO) is organizing a third Symposium of intellectual property Authorities to be held on September 22 and 23, 2011, at WIPO. The Symposium will provide heads of IP authorities, industry leaders and other stakeholders with an international forum in which they can share ideas and experiences for improving services to be provided by IP authorities. The second EPO Online Services User Day of 2011 will be held in Istanbul on 29 September.

The User Day is primarily aimed at Patent Attorneys, IP support staff and staff responsible for the technical implementation of Online Filing.

The morning session of the programme includes practical sessions on Online Filing for both new users or users with little experience of the Online Filing software. For more experienced users who want to find out more about formalities and procedural features and changes effective as of 1 January 2011 a distinct workshop is offered.
